On August 30, 2025, I had the chance to attend the Embedded Systems for Beginners webinar hosted by Akuni Projects . The session was streamed live on Facebook, free of charge, and participants even received an e-certificate. As someone curious about the relationship between hardware and software, I found the experience both practical and eye-opening. Key Learnings The webinar started with the fundamentals of embedded systems their characteristics, real-world uses, and how they’re found in everyday devices like smartphones, appliances, and even smart building systems. The discussion then highlighted the core components of embedded systems like sensors for collecting data, actuators for responding to inputs and microcontrollers that connect it all together. Understanding how these elements interact gave me a clearer picture of what makes today’s gadgets are very advance. The session also introduced the architecture and software-hardware interaction that power embedded s...
